Study time.

went bowling with bryan and cheng today before going cheng's house to watch house of wax. cheng was 1 half hours late and hence, he was forced to pay for all our bowling shoes. havent really bowled for a long time and all we could see were balls happily rolling along the gutter.

anw, its the 30th of nov and by the time this post gets published it should be 1st dec. which sadly, means that i have no more time to be slacking off and going out like it was any normal holiday. i have to put my mind and soul into focusing on my studies. i feel that even though i have a one month early start, i dont think it is enough. i just received excellent news that my prelims are starting on the 5th week of jan which means approximately 9 weeks more to study. and also 9 more months to the O levels.

im asking you for help once again lord, give me strength to pull through this new year awaiting me. give me the focus that i need, i need your help more than ever, especially in this critical year.

Commitment.

started my guitar lesson before i went out. after the lesson , as i sat on the bus i thought, "i've learnt for so long but there's just so much." i feel that these to years with the guitar wasnt really promising. with so much more to learn, im starting to question just how much devotion i put into it. after seeing the sea of info i still need to take in, i feel that i didnt improve much since ive started. sometimes i really feel like giving it up but the money i spent on guitar really holds me back. i wonder how long it'll take. the talk with shi yuan really shook me, it made me realise how much guitar means to me. well, i guess saying that i'll try my best wont really work as i have said that countless times but i never really cared. nevertheless, i shall continue, regardless of how long it takes.

okay so went out with team mates today to watch Hero (supposedly Enchanted) yi chye that goon went to buy the wrong ticket which left me unhappy for a short period of time. anw the show's also quite good , and takuya kimura is quite good-looking too =P

holiday.

Esplanade - Bishan

went to marina square with kendra today to windowshop for some clothes. marina has tons of clothes in which i really wish i had the money to purchase all. =/ oh well, im gonna get there soon and get myself some new clothes for the new year. my wardrobe needs an interior makeover (:

and after that , we walked to Esplanade to enjoy the view and walked all the way back to Bishan. aha , my legs were killing once i reached home. i shall try walking from Bishan to Esplanade next time.

Outrageous TPYM Overnight Tour

16 nov 10pm - 17 nov 7am

ppl started gathering at the hall at around 10 plus and we had one small round of introduction.

and it was unto the bus and to fort canning where we were split into groups and had some intro by lawrence utama =.=

(: i entered green group where we had some kind of amazing race in a mysterious place looking for green lightsticks in the middle of the night =P.

yes, and lawrence utama gets his shot at fame. =.=

for supper , we had beef hor fun in geylang and headed off to another not-so-mysterious place known as raffles place where we had a questionare.

then off to jurong fishery port where we got to see many large fishes and i was lamenting on how i wanted to drag one home.

and our last stop was at east coast where we got to watch the beautiful sunrise and eat breakfast.

well , overall OTOT was an exciting experience and i felt that we have been brought closer as one group under God's presence. There was really this feeling of family during this trip as we went all around singapore. After all , we are brother's and sister's in the lord's name (:
